Spatharis Museum of Shadow Theater
The Shadow Theater is very popular in Greece and young childreusually watch shadow plays with their favorite heroes. The museum has been named after the major representative of the Shadow Theater in Greece, Evgenios Spatharis. The museum hosts books related to that specific theater kind, collected by Evgenios SPatharis and his father as well as posters, programs etc. One can see the funny figures of the heroes of the performances, musical instruments used for sound producing and various tools and materials used for the performances and of course various puppets that are really familiar to the greek audience.
